The Museum

In addition to the historical items in the Rocket Park, the US Space and Rocket Center also has a museum which houses a number of space history exhibits.

For all Apollo space historians, one of the most important items is the Apollo 16 Command Module which took John Young and his crew to the moon and back.

The Museum also had a number of procedure trainers from the Gemini programme

and even the original Mercury version

Also on display was a full size replica of the Lunar Module (though the descent stage was an actual test article), along with a Lunar Rover and John Young's EVA suit used in training exercises.
